3 Termoyopal
Termoyopal is a 200MW natural gas generation plant next to a gas processing plant. This asset was acquired in 2021 as HIC’s first foray outside the Dominican Republic.
4 Hic (Haina investment Company)
Advisor to HIC as a long-term investor focused on energy assets in the northern region of Latin America. HIC is the founding partner of EGE Haina, being the private partner of the most successful public-private partnership in the Dominican Republic.

Recipient of the Corporate and M&A (high-end) Lawyer of the year granted by Legal 500 Award in 2024 and the “Young Jurist of the Year” award granted by the Garrigues Foundation and the University of Navarra in 2004. In 2008 and 2009 he worked at the London office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He is professor of Comparative Corporate Law at IE Law School.

Prior to joining Trelia, he served as CEO of EGE Haina and previously as head of the corporate and investment banking business for the English-speaking Caribbean at Citi.
